The National Water Commission is committed to providing websites that are accessible to the widest possible audience.

This website aims to conform to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2 (WCAG 2.0), developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The Commission has developed a Web Accessibility Action Plan (PDF 61KB) (DOC 519KB) (MP3 2.4MB) as a roadmap to ensure our internal and external websites and web tools are accessible. This plan has been registered by the Australian Human Rights Commission pursuant to section 67 of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.

Our website is designed to display on all commonly used Internet browsers and to work effectively with accessibility hardware and/or software. To accommodate a range of connection speeds, page sizes have been kept to a minimum. Our web pages are scalable to accommodate various common screen resolutions, including tablets and mobile phones.
