About the project

Case studies of different groundwater-dependent ecosystems will be investigated with a focus on interactions with the extraction controls. These case studies will cover a range of different groundwater-dependent ecosystems in different jurisdictions to highlight complexities and the localised nature of management.

    Project benefits

    • Learning mechanism - sharing experiences to build capacity of environmental water managers.
    • Management tools - strengths, weaknesses, and issues associated with a range of locally unique management approaches.
