Building on and continuing the annual survey of irrigation farms in the Murray-Darling Basin conducted by Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences (ABARES) for a further two years to analyse the data with a focus on water use efficiency, water trading and adjustment, and the impacts of water reform on rural and regional communities
Formulating and testing new technologies for evaporation control of water storages.
Increasing the productivity and efficiency of Australian water use under the National Water Initiative.
Demonstrating an integrated whole of system approach to deliver more efficient water management for farmers, water service providers and environmental water managers.
