About the project
The Australian Government is funding a consultancy to support states and territories to evaluate urban development proposals/options and to assess the likelihood of success in achieving water sensitive urban development principles.
The guidelines will provide decision makers and developers with an ability to have a consistent approach to assessing options for water sensitive urban development.
Project benefits
The Raising National Water Standards investment will provide information and assessment tools to assess options of water sensitive urban development and their impact on water supply, water quality, ecology, hydrology, geomorphology, social amenity and cost effectiveness.
Users will be able to assess the capacity of components of water sensitive urban development to achieve water sensitive urban development principles.
